Privacy Policy
Comparing ticketed lagoons across Iceland is the whole job of this site. There is no account to register, no form to fill in and nothing to buy. Reading these pages leaves a visitor anonymous. The tickets themselves, whether for a geothermal bath in the north or a boat among icebergs in the southeast, are bought elsewhere, and that handover is described below.
What Gets Counted
Measurement is deliberately thin. The site counts page views, rough referrers, device type and which outbound listing links get clicked, which is enough to tell whether a page actually helped somebody choose between two venues. Nothing more is gathered, because nothing here asks for it: no names, no email addresses, no phone numbers, no card details. There is simply nothing to buy on these pages.
Third-Party Scripts
The analytics tool sets its own cookies when it counts a visit, under its own policy rather than this one. Any embedded map showing where the venues sit, from the Reykjanes peninsula to the eastfjords, loads from its provider as the page renders and does the same. Each of these can be switched off in a browser without breaking anything: the cards, the comparisons and the text all render without JavaScript.
Booking happens on the live listing, not here. From the moment a reader clicks through, the seller's systems and the venue's own systems take charge, and their cookies operate under their policies, not this one. The same applies to any venue website reached from these pages, whether that is a bathing lagoon in the west or a boat operator on a glacier lagoon. How this site earns is set out on the disclosure page.
What Never Happens Here
- Selling, renting or passing visitor data to third parties. That is not a business this site is in, and no such arrangement exists.
- Running ad networks, retargeting pixels or any tracker that follows a reader across other websites. If a reader sees an advert elsewhere, it was not placed by this site.
- Asking for an email address. There is no newsletter here and no mailing list to join, so there is nowhere for an address to go even if one were offered.
- Booking never happens on this site. Every card links out to the live listing run by the venue or its seller, so your card details and confirmation stay on their systems, whether you are reserving a soak in the north or an iceberg boat at Fjallsarlon.
- There is no contact form anywhere on these pages. The only way to reach us is a plain mailto link, which opens your own email program, so whatever you write is never typed into, stored on, or handled by any system this site controls.
Hosting
Cloudflare delivers these pages and keeps standard server logs, IP addresses included, to filter abuse and block attacks. That is ordinary plumbing, and it is not used for anything else. Nobody opens those logs to work out who you are, and nothing here tries to build a profile of which venue pages a given reader opened, whether that reader was weighing Sky Lagoon against Blue Lagoon or reading up on the glacier lagoons.
Your Choices
Prefer not to be counted? A script blocker, tracking protection or a private window switches the analytics off and nothing breaks, because every card renders without JavaScript. You can also skip this site entirely. The operator behind each tour, from Secret Lagoon to Fjallsarlon Iceberg Boat Tours, is named on its card, so you can go to the venue or the seller directly and book without passing through here at all.
